Overview
Our laboratory was
established in November 2003.
We apply a variety of methods of geophysics to investigate
the nature of solid Earth. As the word suggests,
goephysics is the application of the methods of physics to
the study of the Earth. Computer analysis of geophysical
data (e.g., seismic waveforms) reveals physical properties
of Earth's interior from the surface to the center of our
planet. We use geophysical information to understand the
process of Earth's formation and/or evolution and also to
minimize the risk of earthquake hazard.
We encourage those who have interest in this field!
